Now-days, the design and R&D for almost all the traditional electrical equipment is being tended to intelligence, artificial intelligence research for household appliances has continued for many years, a variety of smart devices have been introduced to the market. With the rise of cloud computing that the easy access to a large number of computing resources and a strong ability to provide massive data analysis given the unprecedented vitality for this field. The most typical and most rapid development is the major companies have launched smart TV product in succession. Look at these products, the first phase of development are concentrated in the smart TV systems, although the major brands of smart TV has a big difference on system. However, their common goals generally focused on improving the number of applications on related platforms. Because of television user groups have a large depth ages, in different educational level features, so if the Smart TV system only similar to the traditional operating system does not really fit in the various user groups, the consumers expect more intelligent and different user experience on television.Based on the researching of market demand, related products and technology trends, this paper mainly discusses how to design and develop a Intelligent Recognition System with a user-based face recognition technology for a world-renowned TV brand. The requirements of this product is got from the market and the innovation of television hardware, combined with the growing maturity of cloud computing technology, the system is defined as a important product and effective way which can achieve cross-regional, continuing to provide the uninterrupted user experience by company’s head quarters. This paper will firstly to introduce the technical content which will be involved in implementation of the system, and then introduces the overall system design, software configuration, distributed architecture based on AWS cloud computing platform, dataflow, business flow and storage solutions. After introducing the system, the relevant user interaction design on TV end will be introduced with the features of data collection for user information and identification strategies. As the system developed by a team together, so some modules implementation will be based on high-level design, the paper will mainly focus on the expansion which the author assumed television terminal module’s design and implementation and discussed in detail. This part involves TV side’s software architecture design, light storage solution for meta data, strategies of offline users face detection and other relevant methods. Finally, the system’s deficiencies and subsequent goals will be described as a summary of the thesis statement.Since the system be applied on the product by manufacturer, the embedded camera device onboard has been more fully utilized, and produces a greater economic value, also received a very good market response. The project was unanimously endorsed by the relevant parties.
