The Internet of Things (IoT) is the next revolution of the ITindustries, following the computer, the Internet and the mobilecommunication network. Its goal is to organically connect physical objects, the information technology systems and human of the global scope through avariety of information sensing equipment and intelligent communicationsystem. To better perception and management of the physical world throughdata collection, analysis, prediction, optimization technology. Thegovernment, enterprises and the carriers are respectively play an importantrole in the future development of IoT.IoT and Cloud Computing has the inseparable relations. On the one hand, thedevelopment of IoT is inseparable from the support of Cloud computing. Onthe other hand, IoT will be the largest users of Cloud computing and lay asolid foundation for Cloud computing technology to achieve greater businesssuccess along with IoT applications in the fields of the intelligenttransportation, intelligent medical, intelligent power grid. IoT is the productof information technology, and the Cloud computing platform is the basis ofIoT applications. This paper studies the deployment, functional architectureand key technology of cloud computing distributed cache. And it focuses onthe advantages of distributed cache, including throughput, high performance, high scalability, and high reliability. Cloud computing distributed cache cansolve IoT application problems that affect large shared memory, datareliability, linear expansion, and consistency in multimodule data protection. These support the bottom layer of cloud architecture in the IoT platform.
