Research Of A Tibetan Input Method Based On Android

Tibetan is a special kind of complex text. In the process of displaying after entering the complex text, it will become abnormal because of the superposition and deform. Solving the superposition and deform problem is the key to bring about Android platform Tibetan input method.The purpose of this article is to solve the problem that tibetan displaying is changed when overlyling,then realized a perfect input method app on which tibetan display is correct.The idea of this research is:firstly to study Tibetan characteristics as complex text itself is, and then determine the encoding scheme; according to the coding scheme of code conversion, research the principle from input to display;research the OpenType font characteristics,combining with the character of OpenType, working out the superimposed deformation scheme;the next sequence is to obtain the keyboard layout model, then have much test about the keyboard layout model; the most difficult and important on the design and implementation of Tibetancomplex text layout engine is how to design complex text layout engine.My ideas is combinging study how about Linux os to realize the complex text layout engine and with Android platform itself’s achieved; the next is the analysis and designmethod combined with the mainstream of the development of technology input, and finally realize the input method.Finally, realize the input method which solved the problem that Tibetan displaying is overlying changed,and have a test on many platforms.
