As non-renewable resources, the radio spectrum resource is getting scarcer and scarcer, socognitive radio has been proposed as a potential solution. Its main idea is to let a class of radiodevices, called secondary users, opportunistically access certain portions of the spectrum. Howeverdue to the same section of spectrum, the secondary users may produce strong interference to eachother, which affects the quality of communications. Power control is one of the methods to solvethis problem.Based on the principle of energy-efficiency, the energy-efficient power control algorithmcontrols users’ uplink transmission power, which ensures normal communication in cognitive radionetworks. In this paper, the scenario of one primary user and multi secondary users is taken intoconsideration. Different kinds of Game theory model have been used to propose proper powercontrol algorithms because of different assumptions and channel environment. After the study ofstatic/dynamic game of energy-efficient power control algorithms, a new algorithm is proposedwhich takes into account the fairness among secondary users. Based on the price mechanism withthree parameters, the algorithm can be flexible to adapt to different scenarios and get expectedresults. After the proven of the existence and uniqueness of Nash equilibrium, this paper provides aperformance comparison among the proposed and two former algorithms.
