Over the past few years, with the rapid development of Internet and the miniaturization and integration of the computer, digital multimedia products have been brought into great vitality. But at the same time, digital products are easy to be copied and modified, and such characteristics make it difficult to protect digital products’intellectual property, therefore hindering digital multimedia products to develop forward. Digital watermark has the feature of hiding information, so it can be used into digital copyright protection, and in recent years it has been highly concerned about by both the academics and the business area. Audio watermark is an example to protect digital audio products. It can embed. copyright information data into audio carrier through the imperceptible modification of digital audio product, and when copyright conflict disputes happen, copyright can be extracted to prove the true copyright holders, therefore effectively combating lawless pirates and protecting the stable development of digital products in the Internet age.This paper mainly researches on robust watermarks which can effectively protect digital audio products, and put forward a "Blind watermarking algorithm based on adaptive energy choice and quantization of parity " then based on this kind of algorithm, designs and implements a software system used to embed and extract digital audio watermarks. This paper is developed as follows. Firstly, this paper expounds, the background and significance of this research topic, describing the basic features and conception of digital audio as well as its fundamental principles and application background. Then a kind of "Blind watermarking algorithm based on adaptive energy choice and quantization of parity" is posed, and this algorithm uses parity quantization technology to modify the coefficients values of discrete cosine transform (DCT) so as to achieve the busy extraction of watermark information. Lastly, based on the above-mentioned algorithm, this paper uses "Visual Studio2008" development environment to implement audio watermark embedding and extracting software system.
