LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a long term evolution for Universal Mobile Telecommunications System technology standards established by the3GPP. In October2013, the Ministry of Industry and information Technology of the People’s Republic of China announced the distribution of2500MHz to2690MHz band spectrum for IMT TDD system and identify the two60MHz unallocated spectrum in1800MHz and2100MHz band used for FDD frequency. In December2013, the Ministry of Industry and information Technology of the People’s Republic of China official issued4G licenses to three communication operators. Spectrum Division and license issuance will make the LTE system construction usher a climax in the future for a period of time.In2006, our country introduced DTMB (Digital Television Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting), a terrestrial digital TV standard with independent intellectual property rights, promote TV broadcasting and television evolve from analog TV to digital TV in our country. Benefit from a series new technology adopted by digital TV, the DTMB will take part of its spectrum resources available to redistribute.The LTE industry always faces the problem of spectrum resources shortage during the process of its development, especially the lack of low frequency with favorable network coverage. DTMB related quality spectrum in VHF and UHF band is drawn more and more attention. The demand of LTE system for DTMB system related spectrum gives the problem of interference and coexistence between this two systems important value and practical significance.In this paper, the main research work centered on the interference and coexistence between LTE and DTMB, in the research process, with system modeling method given, using deterministic analysis method determines the interference and isolation degree with neighboring frequency in interference and coexistence research.On account of the deterministic analysis, a system-level simulation based on monte carlo principle gives a further more accurate result, include urban and rural scenes. In view of the application of cognitive radio technology using DTMB system spectrum hole problems, a method combine geo-location and database applying Genetic Algorithm using idle channel was given, simulation result show this method can improve system isolation requirements and spectrum use ratio. The relevant research results can provide relevant reference basis for the future deployment of LTE system.
