Flexible Workflow Based On Drools Rule

Information technology in all is deepening developed; workflow technology has been played a huge role in more and more areas. From the biggest like rocket launchers, directing operations, to a very small like internal approval process management. It is said that the application of workflow technology has not only helped to power our country and army by technology, but also a great convenience to our daily lives. It has became a way that modern enterprise to strengthen their competitiveness powerful.However, the current mainstream workflow systems also have something defected, such as definition of such processes is not flexible enough, the scalability of the system is not strong enough support for dynamic and so on. Facing of the challenges posed by these problems, many researchers have done a lot of research work, and achieved certain results.To solve these problems, the first article is about proposing an improved dynamic workflow model based on widely recognized in the industry’s basic theory, and could extend the workflow very well in a much simpler way. Then the paper should also propose an improved algorithm for sub-process dynamically generated based on the simple model we just created. And the innovative introduction of rule’s engine allows the process management to generate the specific process definition according to the context of the process instance.In order to ensure the correctness of the dynamically generated subprocess, reducing run-time exception, the paper also proposes a verification algorithm to the optimization process definition, and the algorithm is fast and rapid. Combined with the actual project scenario, we outlined the application of the algorithm which we proposed. It verify the feasibility and practicality.Second, this paper just discussed the problems when dynamically modified the process definition, how the process instance migration. We explain some of the current common practice, and based on this we have gave some constructive improvements.The last article on the issues discussed in this paper is summarized. We presented to our follow-up plans and prospects.
