In recent years, the development of smart phone is very rapid, especially the android smart phone. Because of the characteristic of open source, the android smart phone has occpupied the largest market share so far in the world. But the characteristic of open source also has negative effect, and because of weak intensity of checking new softwares in many application markets, the number of malware in android platform is increasing rapidly. It is impossible to process so many softwares only by manual analysis. Therefore, the thesis designs and implements a system of data mining for mobile malware.First of all, this thesis introduces the background of the subject and summarizes the main content and related technologies, including android system architecture, software static analysis, data mining and SVM algorithm. Then, this thesis makes functional and non-functional requirements analysis and indicates the function that this system will implement. This thesis designs the system’s outline and divides the system into three modules in general design part. They are static analysis module, classifying module and data analysis module. Based on outline design, this paper makes a detailed introduction about the design and implemention of each module. Finally, this thesis verifies the system’s function through testing and summarizes the achievement and the task in the future.The innovative point of this system is the combination of static analysis and data mining. This system could classify android softwares automaticlly and improve work efficiency in actual work environment.
