With Internet technology, mobile communication technology, wireless networkcommunication rapidly development, we have entered the mobile internet age from PC. Themost of mobile application are based on Android, IOS, and WP operating system in mobileinternet age. Mobile terminals mainly include table PC and smart phone. Some applicationswe used in the PC, but also are supported in mobile devices, e-commerce, social network,remote education, medical and other fields can see that. Such as mobile TaoBao, mobile QQand so on. Android operating system with its open-source and stability attracts lots of users.More mobile application developers have entered the Android camp.Java EE technology is mature. Lightweight Java EE technology with its goodscalability and stability is widely used in the field of e-commerce, financial services, andtelecommunications and so on. The development model based on Java EE and Android ismature in the mobile internet age. It can provide a good experience for user, and can easilybuild efficient server-side programs.This paper describes the design and development of insurances system based on JavaEE and Android. Firstly, it introduced the search background, including the development ofthe mobile internet and the development platforms. Secondly, it introduced the keytechnologies used in the system. Again, it introduced the system architecture design, and thedetailed design of client and server. Finally, it introduced the detailed implementation ofsystem and makes the conclusion.The main work to develop Android client are design and implementation of the UIinterface. I use a variety of layout and UI components to display interface. Use asynchronousmechanism to load pictures, use Handler-Message mechanism to realize communicationbetween threads, use cache mechanism to save the traffic. Web pages are nested use JQueryMobile framework develop. Client communicated with server based on HTTP protocol. Theserver part is built based on Servlet, Jersey, Hibernate and spring to complete Business logic processing. In accordance with lightweight Java EE development standards the server part isdivided into presentation layer, Business logic layer, Model layer and data persistence layer.By actual verification, the insurance system based on Android platform achieves thedesired effect, meets user needs, and the user experience is good.
