The Design And Implementation Of University Students Selecting Course And Result Management Information System

With strong technical strength, universities are the cradle of knowledge. With high-speed development of science technology, all parts of the society are developing the information construction actively. So are universities. Teaching modes at universities are also changing, from the original regular teaching to students’course selection. Universities have opened up a great number of new courses to promote students’abilities. In the face of new teaching mode and lots of newly added courses, the past courses management methods cannot meet the actual needs of management. Therefore, it is essential to create an information system concerning course selection and results management. Information of college students’course selection and results is processed by utilizing advanced information technology, which alters the previous ways of management of students and courses. The network-based management of information regarding course selection and results is achieved to raise efficiency of course selection, and it is of significant help in the process of students learning. Thus, management of course selection and results will be improved.This paper provides a detailed analysis of the current problems existing in management of course selection and results at Chinese universities. It introduces at length the solution to the above problems, the importance of the project design, and every stage of system design. It mainly completes the following parts:First of all, it gives a detailed introduction to the background of project selection, illustrates research significance of the project, and analyzes the current situation of the information management of course selection and results at universities at home and abroad.The system is developed by using the B/S pattern. According to users’demands and developers’technical features, Asp.Net is employed to implement system development. SqlServer2008is used as data base. In the light of the software engineering theory, the implementation phase of the project is divided into:system requirement analysis, system design, system implementation, system testing, etc. In the phase of system requirement analysis, it mainly determines requirement goals, requirement boundary, analyzes the system feasibility and introduces the major requirement analysis methods, the method of survey and research report of system requirement analysis, and the method of interface prototype. In the phase of system design, it completes detailed design of system function, physical schema and program logical schema in system operation, exemplifies the main system data forms, and presents the correlation in data forms by E-R diagram. In the phase of system implementation, it accomplishes main function codes and draws up business flow chart. In the phase of system testing, it formulates system test cases, tests system function by using black-box testing, and illustrates test results.
