As the comprehensive development and opening, our social activitie s get into a new era. Social network is playing a more and more important role in our normal life. It takes social activities from real world to the onl ine platforms, which is valuable. Moreover, the time users spent on the so cial network get longer and longer, and they continuously share their pers onal information or the information they are interested in (or their evaluat ions or feelings on a service) on different products and applications, whic h can arise attention among their friends and they enjoy the attention. Thi s means, we can no longer ignore the growing influence of social network s on our societies and groups. However, there is still several challenges an d problems to solve in the course of development:First, there is a phenomenon of the low quality of the user-generate d content, which is the result of the low motivation to contribute high qua lity content and the large amount of advertisements on social platforms. S econdly, another problem is the inactive of the users, we can easily find o ut that there is users who come in to browse, without any other acts, sue h like comment or content generation, which leads to lower activeness an d lower quality of content, thus creating a vicious circle.To deal with the exiting problems mentioned above:we study socia1media platform, and we suppose that the content generated by users on t he platforms is consistent with their behavior on the platforms. Then we s tudy two aspects:we make basic regression analysis based on the data o f byr forum to explore the factors that influence the users behaviors on so cial media the platforms, and we take byr forum as the experimental grou p, take BUAA forum as the control group to make double-different analys is to explore the influence of review mechanism on the content generatio n on the social media platforms.We find that:reputation and social contact have positive impact on t he users’ participation in the social media platforms, the cost of the behavi ors has negative impact on the social media platforms, and the review me chanism can incent the generation of the content on the social media platf orms. We provide some valuable suggestions to the operators of the socia1networking platforms based on our study.
