Appliance And Research Of HIVE Multidimensional Analysis Technology In E-commerce

With the rapid widespread of Internet and E-commerce, this world has became a so called Big Data Era. The explosion of data and knowledge is inevitable, and how to make the mass-data useful is the key for enterprises to improve their competitive strength.An E-commerce company can product more data than traditional company throughout its business and operation. Which means the multidimensional analytic processing of these business data would be more practical and meaningful for the enterprises, which can satisfy their demand for informatization and business intelligence. Multidimensional analysis means to build multidimensional views or data base by imitating the multi-thinking of customer.Hive is on kind of data base tool provided by the distributed communication architecture of Hadoop. Hive provide HQL statement like Structured Query Language(SQL) and Hive can convert the SOL statement into MapReduce mission. Because of the higher computational efficiency of MapReduce, Hive is qualified and the first choice to do multidimensional analysis.Based on the purchase, sale and stock management platform of small and mid-size enterprises, and combining to the practical operation of these enterprises, the author did a deep research on the data base, multidimensional analysis process, Hive technology and provide a solution that how to use Hive to analysis data multidimensionally in E-commerce. The author invent a platform-level analysis system using the Hadoop Platform, especially in a distributed system. This process would use HQL statement to analysis business data. Due to the short history of Hadoop, this program is lack of viewable program braiding tools and OLAP tools. So this paper not only use but also modify the Highcharts plug-ins for the platform. By using different dimension, this program can cut slice like region and commodity categories as vertical time section.
