With the rapid development of mobile Internet, a variety of mobile application services have sprung up, in which LBS (Location Based Service) related services occupy an important and prominent share. The aim of this article is to provide the basis for indoor LBS, virtual reality and other indoor services on iOS platform.After a deep research of existing indoor positioning theories and technologies, in terms of their advantages and disadvantages, combined with characteristics of iOS platform, functional and performance demand of this system, an overall design is given. The overall framework consists of a server and an iOS client; two modules are relatively independent and functioning together.In this paper from two aspects:the design of the system structure and class introduced the detailed design and implementation of a solution. The server module is divided into three modules in terms of different functions:database module, localization algorithm module and communication module, while iOS client of five modules:user login module, RSSI (Receive Signal Strength Indicator) acquisition module, indoor movement description module and communication module.Functional and performance tests then are carried out on all key modules of this system, to check the performance of this system. At last a brief summary and outlook of further improvements are carried on in positioning accuracy.
