Organic optoelectronic materials are the component of organic electroluminescentdiodes(OLED). The luminescent performance and operational stability of OLED devices aremuch determined by the structures and characteristics of organic optoelectronic materials. Thus, design and synthesis of novel and excellent materials are of great importance forobtaining high performance OLED devices. Against this background, blue fluorescentmaterials: torsional strcture anthracene derivatives, new typed D-A-D-A-D compounds andphosphorescent host materials: silane derivatives were synthesized in the paper. The detailwork is listed as following:(1) We synthesized blue fluorescent moleculars with torsional structure: p-PABPI andm-PABPI, and investigated their photophysical, photochemical properties and electrolumine-scent performance. The p-PABPI-based devices showed the efficiencies of18980cd m-2,3.98cd A-1,2.80lm W-1as well as a blue emission with CIE coordinates of (0.15,0.13) and littleefficiency roll-off and color change at high brightness. The efficiencies of p-PABPI are almostthree times larger than that of m-PABPI, which provides a new approach of molecular designfor obtaining high performance blue emission materials based on anthracene derivatives. Thep-PABPI-doped showed pure blue emission with CIE coordinates of (0.15,0.08) and (0.15,0.09), which are close to the blue standards (0.14,0.08) of NTSC. The devices showed arelatively rare blue-violet emission with CIE coordinate of (0.15,0.04), which is independentto dopant concentration.(2) Based on phenanthroimidazole, triphenylamine and carbazole, we synthesized bluefluorescent moleculars with D-A-D-A-D: N-shaped and H-shaped moleculars, and theirphotophysical, photochemical properties and electroluminescent performance were also beenstudied. The maximum current efficiencies for N and H are1.51and1.14cd/A, the maximumpower efficiencies are0.56and0.38lm/W, and the external quantum efficiencies maximum(EQEmax) are1.04%and0.80%, respectively, which provides a new approach of moleculardesign for wet processing. (3) We synthesized phosphorescent host materials including tetraphenyl silicon, carbazole and benzimidazole: TCzPSi and DCzIPSi, and investigated their photophysical, photochemical properties. The triplet energy levels of both are higher than that of FIrpic, andtheir single/triplet exchange energy(Ξ”EST) is little, thus both are ideal blue phosphorescenthost materials.
