The LTE network begins to take shape, and the UEs need to be aware that if the quality of the radio link is reliable, so the UE needs to monitor the quality of the downlink radio link. The author finishes TD-LTE downlink radio linkmontoring test cases based on the mobile RRM accordance test system, in order to judge if the UE is able to monitor the out-of-sync of the downlink radio link.The author learns about the hardware structure and software structure of the existing TD-LTE mobile RRM accordance test system, and studies about the environment and procedure demands of the TD-LTE downlink radio link monitoring test cases in relevant specs, and then the author realized the test cases with the TTCN-3language, based on the existing TD-LTE mobile RRM accordance test system.The chapter one of this thsis introduces the background of current telecommunication industry and the basis of this project. The chapter two of this thsis introduces the relevant concepts of RRM accordance test and downlink radio link monitoring. The chapter three analyzes the principle of the TD-LTE downlink radio link monitoring test cases, and designs the procedure of the test case, and then especially designs the key algorithms in the test cases which include the reception and calculating of the CQI reported by the UE in the net side,and the protection algorithm of the test cases for unexpected conditions, and the round-robin algorithm of the test cases, and power control algorithe.The chapter four realises the code of the TD-LTE downlink radio link monitoring test cases based on the supra and finishes the calidation of the test cases.By running the LTE downlink radio link monitoring test cases on the mobile RRM accordance test system, the tester can well and truly verify whether the deivces can monitoring the out-of-sync of TD-LTE downlink radio link.The LTE downlink radio link monitoring test cases can pass stablely with two different devices of different chips which are qualcomm and MTK, what’s more, it has passed the verification of the international authority GCF. This implementation scheme has been taken as part of the reliable basis for debugging, researching and UE authentication by many mobile manufacturers and the operators.
