The main research content of this paper is through the study of gesture recognitionalgorithm, the gesture gecognition technllogy applied to the movement of EOD robot controlsystem, and the structure of EOD robot is designed.Gesture recognition technology is a kindof human-computer interaction in recent years,EOD robot controlled and the work by handgestures is a relatively new technology.In the past, on the basis of the research of gesturerecognition technology, combined with the system structure of EOD robot, the imagesegmentation algorithm of gesture gesture recognition system algorithm, gesture imagefeature extraction algorithm, continuousgesture recognition are studied, and design thesystem structure of EOD robot.In this paper the research on hand gesture recognition algorithm, put forward a kindofgesture image color segmentation algorithm based on statistics, the algorithm based on thestatistics in the YCb ’Cr’ color space color pixel gesture image, the color characteristic ofcolor and brightness characteristics of gesture image red and blue points out, to getbetterresults of segmentation the removal of the gesture image, under different light conditions leadto different results of the gesture image segmentation problem;Secondly, combined with thesegmentation algorithm of color image based on the statistics of the gesture, the gesture imagesegmentation as the initial contour contour feature gesture image, and then combined with theimage processing block, through iterative calculation, the gesture contour curve close toaccurate gesture image contour feature;Then, through the study of continuous gesturerecognition, gesture recognition algorithmis proposed for the threshold model, through theselection of the threshold parameter,finish the segmentation and recognition of continuousgesture image, and the realization of a typical and atypical gestures gesture model model identification to reject;Finally, the system structure of EOD robot is designed, the maincontrol chip controlsystem adopts ARM7LPC MCU as the EOD robot, collected in gestureimage camera,television screen codec processing, the gesture image transmitted to the CPUgestureimage recognition, into the control command to control EOD robot vehicle and thearm joint movement.
