As the core of the business system, the business process gradually becomes one of the central content of the business process management. Due to the diversification of user’s requirements and the complication of the functions for the business systems and the open environment, it has difficulty in modeling and analyzing the business process. Nowadays, BPM (business process management) is used to deal with the business by more and more companies and enterprises. Mining the effective data is the main work of the process mining technology which is based on the process management mining. It means that we can rebuild the model about the net and analyze the related properties which include the change region by the information of the recorded logs. Traditional process mining techniques focus on the offline mining and the analysis of the business process. However, previous methods are limited to study the properties of the open system. It is very difficult to model and analyze the change region in the complex open system on the same time. Thus, it is of great significance for us to study how to use the process mining technology in open system. It is also very important to analyze the modeling way and the change region of the model. The existed methods are given on the basis of the reference model to analyze consistency by using measurement, behavior profiles and other tools under the environmental of Petri net. At the last, we determine the change region and find the responsibility of the change. The open network system is complex and variable. What’s more, the reference model is hard to give out in practical application. Oftentimes, a part of the log is given, and according to the log we can analyze the properties. The traditional methods cannot solve the above problems. Based on this background, the main research of this paper is divided into the following parts in order to solve these problems:(1) Analyzing the network system is based on the process model. To build the mode is the first thing we should take into account. This paper proposes a new modeling method which is based on the particularity and complexity of the open system, namely using open Petri net to model. At the same time, we use the algorithm to implement the feasibility of this method. Finally, through a specific example, we apply this method to the online top-up system. We analyze the model from two aspects: T-invariant and accessibility. And we can verify the validity and conciseness of this modeling method. The method simplifies the complex system and is able to study the related properties of the model.(2) To determine the change region about the business process by a given part of the event log is the main problem in open Petri net environment. Study the change region is the key problem in business process management. The existing research methods are mainly on the basis of the model which is given out. And they analyze the change areas by using the method based on behavioral semantics. However, the traditional methods have some limitations in located the change region with a part of logs. Considering the part of the given logs, this paper proposes an analyzing method based on log’s error point to determine the change region of the model. Mining the original model and calculating the error points of the logs by the given logs is the first thing we should to do. Then, we can determine the change region according to the different degree of the classification about the error traces. Finally, we illustrate the feasibility of method through a realistic example. This method avoids the limitation without the objective model and reduces the analyzing difficulty.
