Iris diagnostics is also called iridology, it is a kind of holographic theory. Iris is aminiature of the human’s organs, it reflects the health of each organ. Because of the bloodvessels of the iris, there are a lot of radial and circular texture. So the texture and the changesof pupil’s size or the changes of the colors are all the basis of disease. And it is helpful to thediagnosis of iris.Iris radii saloris is one of the forms of the human’s organ’s pathological changes. It isshown as radial lines and it occurs in the whole iris. Iris radii saloris often stands for achronic disease. Usually the color is deeper, the more toxins accumulated. The source of irisradii saloris’s toxins is long-term intestinal digestive and excretory dysfunction, so in theobservation of iris will find the lots of radial lines diffuse from intestines area.Now the research of iris radii saloris detection is still in its initial stage, so in this paper,the detection has being studied for the characteristics of the radii solaris in the iris. Analysisof the gray features of radii solaris, and put forward the method of window extraction todetect the radii solaris. First of all, preprocess the iris image. Secondly, according to thecharacteristics of the radii solaris design the window. Then, through the window to extractthe candidate pixel of radii solaris and screening. Finally, detected radii solaris by the lengthand position characteristics of the radii solaris.In this paper, C#was used to design and compile the algorithm. To the laboratory irisdatabase, the location accurancy of this algorithm can reach91.3%. Experimental resultsshowed that this algorithm had many advantages in the complicated degree and thethresholds selected. Through this study, it provides a basis for the automatic detecting andrecognizing for the iris extraction.
