The Research And Implementation Of Load Balancing Based On PHP

In recent years, the Internet has become more and more popular in everyone’s life. The fast rise in internet applications often challenges the load capacity of the network. It is difficult to replace nearly all the equipments for a short while based on cost budgeting. Load balance seems to be the most efficient solution to solve the problem.This paper first introduces the hot topic and development of load balancing technology, the implement and algorithms about load balance. And then explains the reason why to choose Nginx as web server in the project by comparing the two kinds of load balancing software solutions in the market.In the core of this paper, the author comes up with an improved algorithm to test the load capacity of Nginx servers, which is based on analyzing weighted round-robin scheduling algorithm in the code of Nginx and shortfall in the performance under the large quantity of concurrent visit, with the form of steady state in the cluster system. At last, the improved algorithm is proved to be effective through several testing tools.At the end of the article, the author demonstrates main improvement and some kind of shortages,and also images future work of this research.
