In practice, wireless sensor network (WSN), which was made up of a large number of wirelesssensor nodes, is usually difficult to replace battery as it does not only rely on battery power but alsoin complex deployment area. Therefore, how to reduce the energy consumption of sensor nodes andto improve the energy efficiency of the whole network are the major problems in need to be solvedin the development of wireless sensor network.The energy consumption of sensor nodes is composed of the circuit energy consumption andsending energy consumption. Researches shows that the energy efficiency of the network can beimproved effectively once the application of cooperative MIMO technology of wireless sensornetwork system in the premise of no any increase of system transmission power and bandwidth.This paper is mainly focus on the power allocation and relay topology problems in thecoordination communication. Main solved problems are as follows:Firstly, the energy consumption model of the cooperative MIMO system was analyzedelaborately in this paper. According to the closed-form solution given out in this paper, the energyconsumption optimization model was subsequently inferred in the MIMO system.Secondly, after analyzing the network topology and SER performance of the relay system indetail, the author proposed the SER value of the linear type relay system. And then based onminimum SER, the optimal power allocation model and best network topology model were putforward.Thirdly, combining the cooperative MIMO system with linear type three-point relay system, anew kind of MI-R-MO system model was raised. Furthermore, the paper does a lot of analysis onthe energy consumption and SER performance of this system. By the means of formula andsimulation, it demonstrated that under some certain conditions, the energy consumption ofMI-R-MO system is better than that of MIMO system and linear type three-point relay system.Lastly, with the analysis in detail, the paper gave out the optimal energy consumption model ofpower allocation and relay position under the SER performance. By the means of simulation, itshows that the MI-R-MO system possess the best energy consumption and SER performance whenadapting the optimal power and the best relay position.
