Nowadays, with the rapid development of Internet and all kinds of new services and products, Cloud computing, from a new phrase, has become the fundamental of lots of applications, and is now part of everyone’s daily life. The developments on cloud computing platform and research on its scheduling algorithms have also gained great attentions, many outstanding cloud platforms have been released, and research on scheduling algorithms on cloud environment have made much progress in the meanwhile. Hence, how to open the scheduling interfaces to algorithms and choosing the right one in its particular application environment has become an important issue in the design of cloud computing platform.Facing the variation of the scheduling methods and algorithms on cloud computing environment, and based on the fact that there are many common aspects on the technical needs of PaaS and IaaS platforms, the design of a hybrid cloud computing platform is presented in this paper. With this platform, not only reliable and efficient cloud computing abilities are provided, the many scheduling methods in cloud computing environment are also abstracted as replaceable interfaces, which enable the ability to implement flexible scheduling algorithms based on the application environment.In this paper, the current development on cloud computing platform and research on its scheduling algorithms are introduced in the first place, after which the goals and significance of the design of this hybrid cloud computing platform is presented, along with these goals a brief overview of the platform is given. Then, the detailed design and implementation of the hybrid cloud computing platform is introduced, in which the resource scheduling and task scheduling subsystems, and the open scheduling interfaces are the focal points. The deployment of the testing platform and detailed testing reports are presented in the end, which proved the rationality and effectiveness of the design of this platform.
