The signal acquisition and data processing comprehensive platform used in Raman distributed fiber-optic sensing system is studied in this paper. The platform is an important part of sensing system integrated with functions of signal acquisition, data caching, data processing and sensing results display.The Raman scattering produces the Stocks light and anti-Stocks light in different wavelengths. After converting into electrical signals by PIN, A100MSPS,16bit-ADC converts these two analog signal trains into digital signals. As the control core of the data acquisition, the FPGA controls the digital data collection, the average calculation and the data caching. Then, the average will be sent to the CPU by a UPP interface. The DSP core in CPU will complete data processing and the sensing results will be displayed on a LCD.Hardware design and FPGA design are two main parts of the works in comprehensive platform design. The hardware design part introduces the power circuit, amplifier circuit, ADC circuit, peripheral circuit of FPGA and peripheral circuit of CPU subsystem. The FPGA logic consists of ADC interface logic, DDR Ⅱ driver, UPP interface logic and the central control logic.An IP core of DDR Ⅱ controller is used to reduce the workloads.
