In recent years, the rapidly evolving Mobile Internet serves user better work experience and also deep into people’s daily life. In the Mobile Internet developingstatistical report of China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) on Janury15th2013, Mobile Internet was already developefaster than typical broadband network. In China, smartphone grows explosively since the3G network on service. In2012, China becomes the largest smartphone saler in the world.User use moblie device connecting Internet which make the device leading user behavior in turn. Recognize mobile client, analyze user behavior and traffic characteristics of different mobile device becomes critical important in understanding the development of Mobile Internet.This thesis first introduces the development of current Mobile Internet, including analysis of traffic characteristics and recognition of mobile client. Then, we detaile the technology of cloud computing, big data mining and Hadoop distributed framework especially the the big data analysis system based on Hadoop in our lab.Using big data analysis system in our lab, we analyze the massive data of Moible Internet traffic and develop device model and Operating System recognition method. This thesis decribes the design of mobile model and operating system recognition method based on Hadoop in detail.Further on, we use the client recognition results to analyze the Mobile Internet traffic characteristics in mobile client perspective.Finally, in order to better emphasize the Mobile Internet traffic characteristics, we compare the traffic characteristics between Mobile Internet and ADSL network. Also, the impact of five typical applications on total ADSL network traffic is analyzed, and the predictionequations are given at the same time.
