Software Defined Network is an innovative new network architecture which evolved from work done at clean state team. The OpenFlow protocol which separates the control plane and the data plane is the core protocol of this architecture. OpenFlow achieves a flexible control of network traffic, and provides a perfect architecture for core network and different applications. The network resource discovery is an important part of network tech. Presently, the research focus on network resource discovery for SDN is few in number. Network resource discovery is based on the description of a resource requester, help the requester on the network to find satisfy the requirements of the request described in the appropriate resource. With the proposed of SDN concept, centralized control can easily learn the global network resource information. This paper proposes a new centralized way to do resource discovery. The new way to do resource discovery can be a good way to adapt the concept of centralized of SDN. The result of simulation validate that the new way to resource discovery has a good performance in SDN controller.According to the process of updating the entry in TCAM for the network device with OpenFlow protocol stack, this paper studies for the efficiency of it. In this paper analysis the Native alogorihtm and the Prefix-length ordering constraint algorithm. Then this paper proposes a new updating algorithm. Through theoretical analysis and experimental simulation, this paper can conclude that Dynamic Prefix-length ordering constraint algorithm do better in time complexity than the others. Also the new algorithm do better in space complexity than the Native algorithm and PLO_OPT algorithm.
