With the rapidly development of wireless technology, the number of wireless users increase sharply and the demand for wireless communications have become more and more sophisticated, but the spectrum,which is a valuable resource, is gradually becoming shortage. The contradiction between supply and demand of spectrum and the lack of utilization of the allocated spectrum, encourage people to put forward the concept of cognitive radio (CR). Cognitive radio which can use the spectrum under the premise that it does not interfere with authorized users, in order to achieve a highly reliable communication in anywhere, anytime and efficient spectrum utilization, is an intelligent wireless communication system.Spectrum sensing is the core of Cognitive radio, because Spectrum sensing is that cognitive users get spectrum information in wireless network through a variety of signal detection and processing means, but the amount of spectral data overload, which causes great inconvenience to the storage and transmission. Considered this, the paper research the key technologies used in H.264video compression standard in order to improve the compression ratio of the spectral data, and easily storage and transport.Combined with the current spectrum information of spectrum sensing, the paper propose a suitable compression framework, and the results have an influence on the storage and transport in CR.The work in this dissertation is concluded as following points.Firstly, startding from the multi-frame data through spectrum sensing in broadband,the parper focus on the current popular image and video compress,such as JPEG and H.264,and analyse their key technology.According to the features of the multi-frame data,the paper improve the process of JPEG and H.264and propose a new algorithm framework which is used to the data from spectrum sensing in the broadband.Secondly, collectiong multi-frame data through sensing in a variety of different environments, and combining with the algorithm mentioned,a macroblock is composed of multi-frame data.Inputing the macroblock,the algorithm reconstructed spectrum sensing data from intra-frame or inter-frame prediction、DCT transform and the quantization module. Comparing the data compression ratio and root mean square percentage error between the reconstructed data and the original data turns out the algorithm effective.Thirdly, summarizing the full paper,and combed with the lack of the paper and the focus of imgae code, giving the research direction for the next step.
