With the fast development of Internet, the way people work, live and think is deeply influenced. The main purpose people using Internet is changed from sharing of resource to acquiring of content. This change also leads to the fact that in today’s Internet architecture there are a lot of problems that cann’t solved by today’s evolution schemes. Therefore, more and more research institutions dedicate to the research of the future network architecture in clean-slate. Information-Centric Networking (ICN) is one of the hotspots of future Internet, and the Content-Centric Networking(CCN) belongs to ICN which is widely researched in the world. CCN uses the distributed caching mechanism and proposes a shift from the traditional host-centric communication to a content-centric paradigm. Routing mechanism is a major issue of CCN and has a pivotal role on CCN system performance.Traditional CCN routing is based on broadcast/multicast, which lacks control of the forwarding interfaces and may bring redundant retrieval. So, in this paper, we present a combination of Genetic algorithm and Ant Colony Optimization (GAAC) for CCN routing optimization. GA has the fast random global search capability and ACO has the ability to search distributed and parallel. By design the algorithm and build the simulation environment, we evaluate the system performance in three indexes:the convergence rate, the failure content request and the mean shortest distance to get content. The simulation results show that GAAC demonstrate very good performances.
