Android operating system released the first version Android1.5in2008.Since then the OHA released one new version every six months. The latest version is Android4.4. Now, Android operating system is not only used in smart phones, tablet computers, but also used in the field of smart watches, smart game consoles, smart TVs. So it has broad market prospects. Meanwhile, with the development of self-organizing networks and its related application areas mature, more and more people pay great attention to it. The self-organizing networks can be ported to smart phone, tablet computers, and personal computer with the Android operating system. This work will interconnected with phones and computers and enrich people’s work, learn, and play way. This paper proposes a self-organizing network routing protocol RAMAODV related with Android operating system based on the AODV routing protocol. The RAMAODV routing protocol is a memory balancing routing protocols based on the Android operating system. It mainly designed for the limited memory capacity and the unique Android operating system’s memory management mechanism of mobile devices. The RAMAODV routing protocol can decide whether a node can take part in routing discovery process and packet forwarding process according to the node’s remaining memory. The RAMAODV routing protocol chooses the nodes with relatively sufficient remaining memory to attend the routing discovery process and adopt the "Able people should do more work" strategy. Simulation results using the NS-2.35show that the RAMAODV routing protocol can effectively extend the network life time. In this paper we implement the RAMAODV routing protocol in the form of library code and perform some relevant unit tests. Finally, we summarized the results of this paper.
