| With LTE-A technology continues improving. The accuracy of uplink CSI feedback information has been insufficient to meet the next generation wireless communication channel quality requirements now.3GPP added MU-MIMO in Release12, MU-MIMO CSI feedback enhancement technology of LTE-A system has become an important research topic in3GPP R1meeting.Firstly, the paper studies on the LTE-A and MU-MIMO technology background and standard. The study focused on LTE-A technology evolution, the technology and standardization processes of MIMO and several proposals of MU-MIMO including CSI feedback enhancement supported by3GPP Release12.Secondly, the paper focusing on two kind of CSI feedback enhancement technology that3GPP Release12supporting-rank restricted and best companion PMI. Analyze the principles and performance of these two techniques. Added modules and parameters that meet the assumption of DL MU-MIMO research in3GPP standard based on LTE-A simulation platform. Including add and modify HARQ, MU-Scheduler, IMR, IRC, MU-Interference and a series of simulation platform problems. At last, get the simulation results of MU-MIMO baseline and the two techniques.Finally, aim at MU-MIMO CSI feedback enhancement. The paper studied a CSI feedback enhancement scheme based on Wideband Offset, and get the result by simulation. The paper Propose a new scheme that added weighting factor and OLLA base on the existing simulation results and understanding of the principles. Then, added the scheme into the simulation platform that based on3GPP assumptions, to get the final simulation results, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of various schemes. The paper proposes a new scheme of MU-MIMO CSI feedback enhancement, proved its performance through simulation. Simulation results show that, the new scheme will get at least100%gain than the other Mainstream scheme. The result of study can be used to3GPP LTE-Advanced technical report. |
