Liquid analysis is the technique to measure transparency, density, tension, viscosity and concentration of liquid, determine the composition of the liquid and identify the liquid by using chemistry, physics and computer technology. Some metbods for liquid identification used now is complex in experiment process, some of the instruments are expensive, some require the use of a variety of reagents, and some identification process is very slow. But fiber-capacitive liquid drop analysis can achieve low-cost, fast, accurate and green liquid analysis and identification.Fiber-capacitive liquid drop analysis uses optical fiber liquid drop sensor to get the light intensity change in the liquid drop growth process, and uses capacitive liquid drop sensor to get volume change. Then combining the two signals can obtain the curve based on the unit volume which reflecting the comprehensive characteristics of liquid. The curve is named "fiber-capacitive liquid drop fingerprint". Using feature extraction and pattern recognition on the liquid drop fingerprint can identify the type of liquids and analyze the characteristic of liquids.In the process of fiber-capacitive liquid drop analysis, the identification is credible when the liquid drop fingerprint of one kind liquid are uniqueness and stability. However, many factors affect the liquid drop fingerprint and the recognition results on liquid. In order to ensure uniqueness and stability of liquid drop fingerprints, the study of these factors is very necessary.The subject studies three factors which have an impact on the liquid drop fingerprints. These three factors are the depth of fiber within the liquid drop, the liquid drop growth time and the shape of dripper. With the analysis of these three factors, we can know the depth of fiber within the liquid drop and the shape of dripper need to remain unchanged, the liquid drop growth time has little effect on the liquid drop fingerprint. But when the speed is about lOul/s, the experiment effect is perfect.
