Countries are actively developing independent satellite navigation system, becausenavigation satellite system play a important role in the Military field and Nationaleconomy, which makes the navigation signal band more and more crowed. In order tosolve this problem, the BOC modulation was proposed due to the characteristic ofspectral separation and has being used in the modernized navigation signal. Meanwhile,the MBOC(6,1,1/11) modulation is also proposed for enhancing the compatibility andinteroperability between different navigation system, increasing the tracking accuracyand Anti-multipath ability. MBOC(6,1,1/11) modulation has been used in GPS, Galileoand Compass. Tracking of navigation system is the key technology of receiver. Due to thespecial structure of MBOC signal, the traditional tracking loop is no longer applicable.Therefore the research of MBOC signal tracking technology has important significance.This article focuses on the research of MBOC modulation signal tracking technology.Firstly, the background and significance of the research is introduced, mainly includingthe development of MBOC modulation and the research status of MBOC signal trackingtechnology and the research status of tracking technology under high dynamic. Secondly,the modulation principles and characteristics of BOC family is introduced, mainlyincluding the principles and generation of BOC signal, the power spectral density andautocorrelation function of BOC signal,TMBOC and CBOC which are the differentimplementations of MBOC signal, and the power spectral density and autocorrelationfunction of MBOC signal. Thirdly, we focus on the research of carrier trackingtechnology and code tracking technology of MBOC signal, and proposed a kind ofimproved MBOC signal tracking methods basing on the three loop technology whenusing the FLL aid PLL technology for the tracking of carrier. The block diagram ofproposed tracking loop is given, and the tracking ability of them is also analyzed usingthe MATLAB. The proposed method can stably tracking the MBOC signal under staticand dynamic conditions. Finally, this tracking method of MBOC signal is beingimplemented on the FPGA platform, main modules of this method was described and theModelsim waves were given.
