Firefighters in the complex environment of indoor fire is difficult to accuratelylocate itself, as a result, once the firefighters trapped fire, external personnel to rescuein time very hard, at the scene of the complex relief for firefighters to self positioningproblem, put forward the fireman distress search and rescue system based on positionlocation research, the system is to protect the personal safety of firefighters haveimportant significance.Distress were trapped after the system for firefighters cannot determine locationinformation, puts forward how to make use of MEMS inertial sensors measure thefirefighters posture and tracks, considering the overall performance of the hardwaresystem, low cost sensor precision can meet the accuracy requirement MEMS inertialnavigation system, so this paper adopts wireless location positioning system based onMEMS sensors. Through the various research and deep understanding of pedestrianlocalization algorithm, this paper choose the PDR pedestrians dead reckoningalgorithm and step length estimation to estimate the next moment the location of theprocess and personnel walking track, real-time information pedestrian continuous2dcoordinates.This method is through the system design and experimental verification, achievedgood results, basic the desired effect. The experimental results show that the system ofhigh positioning accuracy, further improve the stability, at the scene of the rescue theimplementation of the system can guarantee the safety of firefighters to the greatestextent.
