The Research Of Chinese Ink Painting Simulation Based On The Recomposition Of A Group Of Landscape Images

In recent years, the techniques of Non-Photorealistic Rendering in the computerscience have been developed deeply and rapidly. It attracts increased attention fromacademic researchers that how to draw the Chinese Landscape Painting byprogramming, and then became a large branch of computer graphics. The art ofChinese Landscape Painting has long history, which has its own unique quintessence.This treasure should be inherited to promote the Chinese traditional culture. In thesame time, it is the challenge that creating the Chinese landscape painting byprogramming for the application of computer technology in traditional art area. In thisreport, a ink landscape paintings is created by recomposing the elements of the hillcontour information. There elements are extracted from a group of landscape imageby using the feature abstraction from similar artistic conception. The featureabstraction used in this report is based on the theory of the composition in thetraditional Chinese landscape painting and the theory of the artistic conception for thelandscape painting.Firstly，analyze the different artistic conceptions of the traditional Chineselandscape painting and build the artistic conceptions model, and then extract themountain contour information of the landscape images. The information was thencategorized by different artistic conception models.Secondly, ink landscape paintingswere analyzed by different artistic, the characteristic of layout of the subject in theseworks were studied. The parameters of paintings, axis and whole composition ofpictures were managed to analyze and determine all based on these studies of differentartistic conception models. Consequently, and the process of the recomposition for themountain contour information were studied, that focused on that how to arrange theselected profile in sub-step according to commended axis. In the end, according to therequest， the selected images and meterial are extracted and recomposed based on thecomposition rule. And then simulation ink landscape painting was generated.The essential of the Chinese landscape painting is the artistic conception which isthe motion beyond the details of the object in the printing. This basic rule tells that thecontent of the ink landscape paintings is unnecessary to be corresponded by thecontent in the photos or pictures. The main novelty of this work is that the profiles extraction from a group of photos and pictures generate a ink landscape paintingsfrom the reconstitution. The results of the experiments demonstrate the virtual inklandscape painting can be generated based on the characteristic of the group of naturalphotos belong to same artistic conception model and the reconstitution followed bythe theory of the composition in the traditional Chinese landscape painting.
