With the growing of Web Services on the Internet, mining the competitive andcollaborative relations among Web services comes from the Internet on the semanticlayer is very important. It is the basis of constructing the new algorithms of servicesmanagement, service discovery and service composition which are bases on therelationships among Web services. The paper mines the relationships among Web Services on the basis of semanticsmatch after expanding the semantics of services using ontologies. Firstly, it definesthe parameter-, set-, operation-level in detail from bottom to up according to thestructure of services file after studying the semantics in ontologies carefully. And then,it proposes the algorithms of mining service relation. It includes mining the parameterrelationship, the generation and merger of abstract services, the relations miningamong abstract services, the check of concrete service relation. After this, it will get anetwork which is consisted of abstract service layer and concrete service layer.Thirdly, the paper proposes the mechanism and methods of relation miningscheduling on the Services Network platform. At last, it validates the relation miningalgorithms by utilizing the10000+real Web services collected from the Internetwhich is rely on the OpenCyc.In short, we mine the service relations according to the functional semantics ofoperations which are based on the result of annotation. The service relation networkwe build could provide great convenience for automatic service discovery andcomposition.
