ELD (Economic Load Dispatch) is an important problem in research and practical operation of a power system. Its purpose is to ensure that the total generating capacity can satisfy the need of load, and make the least cost of all generators in the power grid. EELD (Environmental Economic Loading Dispatch) is a comprehensive consideration of cost and pollution emissions of a new mode of load distribution. Facing the two problems of power generation cost and pollution, we use multi-objective optimization algorithm to find the best solution.In this research contents and achievements are as follows:(1) Increase the mutation in order to improve the differential evolution algorithm, significantly improved the differential evolution algorithm easily to plunge into when in high-dimensional. In this research we use many different test functions in order to compare improved differential evolution algorithm and the differential evolution algorithm, and the results show that the performance of improved algorithm has significant improvement.(2) Multi-differential evolution algorithm can be used for Economic load distribution problem with valve-point effect. Economic load distribution problems not only have discontinuous, non-differentiable, non-convex, nonlinear objective function, but also restricted by power balance and operation constraints, it is difficult to solve using classical mathematical algorithm. Use this method in load distribution problems, effectively prevent the algorithm premature convergence, and improve the optimization precision of the algorithm. To verify the validity of the algorithm, this paper tested for multiple economic load distribution problems, and other intelligent algorithm to compare, results show that this algorithm can effectively find the feasible solution, and avoid falling into local optimum, and it can solve the problem fast algorithm, this paper tested for multiple economic load distribution problems, and other intelligent algorithm of the comparison results show that this algorithm can effectively find the feasible solution, and avoid falling into local optimum, can realize fast solving of the problem.(3) To solve the power system multi-objective problem such as environmental economic load distribution, we use multi-objective differential evolution algorithm to solve this problem. In the research of economic environment load problem, first of all, establishing mathematical model of pollution and greenhouse gas.Thus forming the consideration of environmental and economic load mathematical model of multi-objective problem. Secondly, in the solution of the multi-objective problem, this article uses the Pareto optimal method.
