Telemetry module automated test system is used to test the performanceindicators of telemetry module automaticly and comprehensively, as to enhance therapid development level of the telemetry device. Telemetry system transmission biterror rate is an important indicator of Telemetry module automated test system, thedata transmission bit error rate of telemetry module under the certain signal strength.First, this paper introduced the research background, explained the composition ofautomatic test system, introduced the general situation of the bit error rate and theresearch content of the topic, and then further explained the causes of the bit error rate,test principle,pseudo random sequences,and so on. In view of the Telemetry moduleautomated test system,put forward a scheme about the bit error rate.This scheme isdivided into a pseudo random sequences sending module and the bit error ratecomparison software of PC.To introduced and analysis the design and function of thesub-module.At a lower machine pseudo random sequences module,used the hardwaredescription language Verilog HDL to design IP core in the FPGA.It included thefrequency divider,m sequence producing module, serial to parallel conversion module,channel selection module, configuration module, then add the Qsys soft core and thePLL. The IP core worked by the control of the Qsys soft core module, produced msequence of different clock frequenies to a particular channel.When thesynchronization is completed, the PC software stored the PCM data with shuttreatment by the bit error rate comparison software. The bit error rate can be obtainedfrom the comparetion of the local pseudo random sequences with the received data.Finally, a measurement process for the telemetry module was be introduced, andanalysesed the problem from the test.The hardware and software system of finally completed can be test the codingmodule and the transmitter module of the telemetry module. The practical applicationshows the bit error rate test module not only have a high reliability,but also have ahigh degree of automation.
