ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)is an integrated system of informationmanagement technologies, which is mainly to complete the integration of information,transfer of information, information management and maintenance functions in thesupply and management of raw materials, product design, manufacturing and salesprocess. ERP which is raised since the1990s has gained rapid development in bothmanagement thinking and software product, and it has greatly promoted theupgrading of the manufacturing enterprise management level. But, there are a lot ofreal-time event tasks to be solved in the ERP system.This paper aims at textile machinery manufacturing enterprises, and develops amessage service mechanism based on WCF which is suitable for textile machinerymanufacturing enterprises. The message service mechanism will act as a bridge tomessage nodes’ delivery in supply chain, to complete the timely communicationbetween product design department, production department, purchasing departmentand other departments of the material, aiming at shorting the product developmentcycle and reducing cost and improving design quality. What’s more, it lets eachmodule in ERP system can work closely together, while improving the efficiency ofthe user’s office and supply chain.In this paper, firstly, with the analysis of ERP system’s present situation,development and the application in the field of textile machinery manufacturing, thecharacteristics and methods of NET Framework, WCF, XMLHttpRequest (Comet)and Javascript control library-JQueryEasyUI which is used to improve user’ssatisfaction are researched, and a real-time messaging panel model constructionwhich is suspended in the index page of ERP system is structured based on thesemethods. Based on the message communication panel model, in order to achieve thepurpose that the various real-time events message which are created or received byusers can be exchanged with no difficulties, the system design goals, development plan, function frame and development platform are put forward. And then accordingto the demand of the system, it’s discussed around the three core of the messageservice mechanism: completeness, the real-time, interactivity, and it is improved andrealized from different methods adopted from various angles. What’s more, astructure of news which are created to support the whole message service mechanism,a client.Net Comet model which can corporate with the message service mechanism,WCF service which are created according to the company’s server processingcapacity and the maximum possible number of concurrent users and the real-timemessaging panel model construction which is created to enrich the user’s satisfactionby using JQueryEasyUI are established. Finally, the actual working process of themessage service mechanism in the demo system is demonstrated by operating theERP system with different roles.In this paper, based on the needs of solution to a large number of real-time eventtask in the ERP system, the message service mechanism uses XMLHttpRequest(Comet) to connect to the server, which enables client and server to maintain theconnectivity for each other over a period of time, and it has improved thecontradiction between server and client on the problem that communication is nottimely. And the message service mechanism also use WCF technology to programWCF services, having met the requirements in the communication between the clientand server on security, reliability, scalability and configuration. What’s more, themessage service mechanism use the cache in the client and database to store themessage the user failed to accept, having ensured the completeness of messages.Through testing ERP system, it proves that the system is stable and practical whichhas embedded message service mechanism. And the design of message servicemechanism and modeling method is versatile, so it’s easy to transplant to otherapplication environment.
