Control performance assessment theory is a new branch of the theoretical research on thecontrol system. The development of control performance evaluation theory and method is agreat significance for the study of control system performance assessment, fault diagnosis andperformance optimization. The field of modern industry has put forward higher requirements oncontrol performance, reflected in the field of control system, performance assessment theoreticalresearch has developed. The performance index experienced a deterministic index to randomindex, robustness index. To rule out the performance control system fault and optimizationcontrol system using control performance evaluation theory, has become a focus of currentresearch.Flight simulator is a semi physical simulation equipment for important applications in thefield of aerospace, the control precision and stability requirements are quite high. It is necessary,also inevitable to make the control performance of flight simulator evaluation. In general, theflight simulator performance is based on the tracking curve of the control system to judge. Butthe method has great limitations, not given specific performance parameters, not considered thetracking performance and control input effect on the table system controller. Not be given thedirection of improvement and effective information that has seriously hindered the researchworkofflightsimulator.In order to solve the above problems, based on the flight simulation turntable servo systemas the research object, the main work started from the control system performance evaluationmethod and the controller performance improvement and optimization of two aspects, asfollows:(1) Describes the minimum variance control performance evaluation theory in the basictheory. In order to overcome the performance evaluation algorithm of minimum variancebenchmark involves interaction matrix computation, and solve the minimum variance controlcan not be achieved in many control systems, the minimum variance can achieve the input and outputdataoftheclosed-loopsystembased onperformanceevaluation.(2) LQG considering the input and output of control performance. It is that control inputvariance and the system tracking results by weighted and added to the performance indexfunction. By using the method of subspace identification, can be relatively simple to achieve theidentification of nonlinear system model. Lastly, it can be analyzed that the performanceevaluationalgorithmapplied tothespecialflightsimulatorservosystem.(3) Based on performance evaluation of flight simulation turntable, put forward the basedon LQG benchmark genetic algorithm optimization design method to the flight simulator. Thismethod combines the genetic algorithm in the optimization of fast convergence, and can findthe optimal controller parameters in a large range. It join the LQG index to the performancerestriction of the controller to the objective function, so the optimized controller can get goodtracking. At the same time, the controller has smaller input signal fluctuations, which caneffectively reduce the wear of the controller. Finally, through the simulation results, verify theeffectivenessofthealgorithm.
