Nowadays, due to the frequent use of power electronic devices and non-linear loads, theharmonic’s generation has a serious impact on the efficiency in power systems. Power electronicfilter is a new power electronic devices to suppress dynamic harmonics and idle compensation,which can play the effect to changes of both amplitude and frequency in harmonics.During the design process of power electronic filter, the acquisition in real-time data, theefficiency in software development and control regulation included in core technology,which arethe key factors affecting the effectiveness of the design. On this basis, this paper puts emphasis onthe research of power electronics filters’ online data detection, the code automatical generationand control strategies.At first, this paper elaborates the implementation of power electronics filters’ online datadetection based on DSP and ARM core chips. As data acquisition, DSP2812transfers databetween processors via SPI serial interface. While analyzing the network layer and the transportlayer protocol, meanwhile, finishing the hardware and software design of ARM and ethernetcontroller chip, which realizes online data detection. Then the paper uses LABVIEW, a virtualinstrument software, to design graphical display and complete power electronic filters’ datacommunicational capabilities.Secondly, the paper proposes a method that power electronic filter model can automaticallygenerate code, which is based on MATLAB DSP real-time control software. Through research andanalysis on the CCSlink MATLAB toolbox and ETTIC2000module library, taking powerelectronic filters’such AD converter and PWM output as core part of the design into consideration,leading TI C2812DSP to automatically generate object code from Simulink models. As testobjective, hardware target board tests the enforceability of the code, greatly enhance the efficiencyof system’s development.Finally, the power electronics filters’ core control strategies are studied in the paper.According to the inner current and outer voltage equivalent mathematical model, deriving relevantformula, which can simplify to control block diagram. According to control requirements, I select the appropriate control algorithm, the parameters of the controller is tuning to improve theperformance of power electronic filter to obtain the ideal desired effect. Meanwhile, thesimulational analysis of power electronics filter is completed to prove the effectiveness of thecontrol strategy.Experiments show that the proposed filter for the study of several key power electronicstechnology can improve the performance of power electronic filter to help improve the powerfactor.
