Three-dimensional imaging system can be classified into three types accordingto its scanning mode. They are single pixel scanning imaging system, sensor arraywithout scanning system and emerging system using spatial light modulator.Compared to the sensor array non-scanning system the single pixel scanningimaging system is larger and it takes longer time to obtain higher resolution.However resolution of the sensor array non-scanning system is limited by thesensor array and its SNR is lower. These years as the compressed sensing proposed,imaging system based on spatial light modulator becoming possible, and itsimaging speed and resolution is better than traditional three-dimensional imagingsystem. In2012, MIT presented a three-dimensional imaging system based onspatial light modulator and compressed sensing theory. They replaced the sensorarray by a spatial light modulator and a single pixel sensor, and implement theexperiment. In2013our research group proposed a three-dimensional imagingmethod using compressed sensing and phase-range detection.In this paper we research further on three-dimensional imaging method usingcompressed sensing and phase-range detection. We present better reconstructalgorithm and phase-shift measuring method. Considering the noise in the systemwe try several methods to avoid the noise effect. Also we use multi-modulatedfrequency to improve the ranging accuracy and the working range. Study the signalprocessing part of the system, and simulate the whole imaging program. Define agood solution in signal processing, based on which we design the experimentscheme.
