Satellite navigation system has always been a focus on the high-tech field of theinternational arena. With the excellent features of all-weather, all time, real-time, continuity,and technical advantages of high accuracy positioning, velocity and timing, satellitenavigation system played an increasingly important role in the modern war and national life.However, due to the far distance from satellite to the ground, the power of satellite signalthat reaches the ground is weak. Thus the receiver is very susceptible to all kinds of radiofrequency interference. The performance of receiver is degraded and the receiver even doesnot work. So the research on interference suppression of satellite navigation receiver is ofgreat significance.In this paper,the common methods of interference suppression technology in satellitenavigation receiver are discussed systematically, including the basic principle ofnarrow-band interference suppression and wide-band interference suppression. Somealgorithms are analyzed and deduced specifically, including the frequency-domainwindowed overlapping FFT algorithm, the space-time sample matrix inversion algorithmand the space-time least mean square algorithm that are based on power inversion arraystructure. And the performance of interference suppression of the above algorithms isverified and compared by MATLAB simulation.Based on the analysis and simulation of the algorithms, a narrow band interferencesuppression project is designed with the frequency-domain windowed overlapping FFTalgorithm. And a wide band interference suppression project is designed with thespace-time least mean square algorithm based on power inversion array structure. Thesystem general framework, module division, coding and system co-simulation of eachproject are specified. And the coding of each project is verified by Modelsim simulation.Finally, the projects are implemented on FPGA platform. They are applied to real satellitenavigation receiver and tested. The results of experiment prove that the designs are feasibleand effective.
