In the current world, there are many businesses, such as financial and insuranceinstitutions, own themselves a number of data centers or schedule centers, which arerelatively separated from each other due to their isolated physical locations. In orderto share information among these data centers effectively, a real-time schedulesystem has to be established to effect the functionality of cross-centre scheduling. Inthis process, however, most of the scheduled jobs in these data centers are a case ofsoft real-time schedule process. This paper, An API-Based Trigger System Project for Soft Real-TimeScheduling, probes into a project aimed at an API-trigger-based solution to an opensoft-real-time system. The solution project will flexibility adapt to enterprisesrequirement changes, for instance, creating a new data center or a new schedulecenter, adding a batch of new jobs and so on. Included in this project are, amongothers, the functions of secure authentication, priority scheduling, parallel execution, load balancing, fault tolerance, etc. And, on the basis of this, this paper presents atentative design as well as an implementation guide for an API-trigger-based softreal-time scheduling system. The key points in the current paper are:1) an API-trigger-based solution withan open soft-real-time system;2) security authentication research;3) jobsdependency calculation;4) asynchronous execution;5) priority scheduling;6)parallel execution; and7) load balance and fault tolerance. The four chapterscovering those points of the paper are Chapter I---An Introduction, which presentsa review of the study both at home and abroad and the significance of the currentproject; Chapter II---The System’s Designing Project, which, constituting a keypart of the study, comprises “A Summarization of the System”,“Job SchedulingTerminals”,“Order Accepting Services”,“Security Authentification”, and“Performing Center”, etc. Chapter III---The Actualization of the System, which isa step-by-step realization of the designing project illustrated in the previous chapter, and Chapter IV---A Sum-up and Prospect, that concludes the merits and demeritsof the study and proposes, therefore, further researches on it in the future.
