The Physical Layer Security For Cooperative Communication Network Using Stochastic Game

The broadcast nature of wireless communications makes the eavesdropper easyto obtain the signal which is transmitted from the source to the destination. Physicallayer security exploits the physical characteristics of wireless channel to prevent theeavesdropper to decode the transmitted signals, which is different from thecryptography technique. However, the feasibility of physical layer securityapproaches is hampered by wireless channel conditions limitation when the channelbetween the source and the destination is worse than that between the source and theeavesdropper. Some recent work has done to overcome this channel conditionlimitation by taking advantage of user cooperation However, in practice, relay maynot always select cooperative strategy. The relay may be act as a malicious or selfishrelay. Because the relay’s misbehavior presents a security challenge at the physicallayer, setting up prediction model of the relay behavior is the premise to guaranteesecurity transmission.Game theory is a mathematical tool to investigate the complex interactionsamong interdependent rational players and to model the behavior of the players. Thephysical layer security features with different behavior of the relay is investigated. Arelay behavior prediction model is proposed based on zero-sum stochastic game. Theproposed game model is based on a reward and cost concept. By viewing the systemstates as elements in a stochastic game, the behavior prediction of relay is investigatedand the expected motivation of the relay is obtained. Our model uses Markov toanalyze the system and investigate security and reliability of the cooperativecommunication model.
