High precision ECG detection is the basis of ECG analysis and diagnosis. This article does some investigations for high precision ECG detection. First of all, we discuss ECG theory and typical ECG systems and point out the benefit of high precision ECG detection; Then, the second section summarizes the characteristics of a source ECG signal, noises&interferences, and common methods for improving detection precision:interference suppression, adjustment of offset voltage and reducing inherent noise. The third section focuses on the analog front end circuit. First of all, we validate the performance of common solution to high precision circuit (the adjustment of instrument amplifier offset voltage, right leg drive circuit); design band pass circuit using multi-channel average method to reduce circuit noise; make the second stage amplifier and power supply for the analog front end; at last, implement the optimized analog front end circuit, and test the circuit board, the dynamic range of the realized analog front end being up to93dB. The4th section is about the C5515processor, we give the introduction to the feature of C5515EVM board, and explore two applications including SPI communication and hardware accelerate FFT coprocessor. Electrodes usage in the ECG monitoring process also has impact on high precision detection, so in the5th section we discuss automatic identification for different electrode patterns in ECG monitoring, Chapter6gives a summary of the paper and the prospect for future study.
