Research On Application Of RFID Technology In The Management System Of Supplies Warehouse

With the continuous development of science and technology and the establishment ofthe global information network, the information construction has continued to develop inall aspects. The management control of supplies as a vital part of the logisticsinformation construction plays an important role in the national defense construction.The technology of RFID has brought unprecedented opportunities to the construction ofmodern logistics, with making up for a series of shortcomings such as the low accuracyin traditional material management, high frequency of occurrence in data falsification,massive waste of human resources and high cost in the management and maintenance,which has changed the past one-way dialogue between people and things to the presentmutual dialogue between people and things, things and things. Besides, under thepremise of unchanging traditional material management workflow, the technology ofRFID has made the operation of input-output warehouse and taking stock more efficientand convenient, and also improved the accuracy of material management effectively,which realized the intelligent and informational management in the supplies warehouse.Through the analysis of RFID，this thesis conducts a study on the application ofRFID in the management system of supplies warehouse, containing the several parts asfollows:First of all, the study has a comparison and selection between data transmissiontechnology and automatic identification technology used in the management system ofsupplies warehouse both at home and abroad, and describes the overseas and domesticresearch status of management system of supplies warehouse, which aims to find out thepresent shortcomings in the management system of supplies warehouse.Secondly, in accordance with the features of current supplies warehouse management,the study firstly has a needs analysis on the application of RFID in the managementsystem of supplies warehouse, especially on the system, function and benefit; what’smore, the research analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the application of RFID in themanagement system of supplies warehouse; last but not the least, this paper putsemphasis on analyzing the work flow and data flow of input-output warehouse andsupplies monitoring in the application of RFID in the management system of supplieswarehouse.Thirdly, according to the workflow of the management system of supplies, the studyprecedes a design on the overall structure of system, the database and the functionmodules of system.Fourthly, based on the researches above, the appropriate hardware is selected according to the functional requirements of system hardware, and the realization of thekey functions of the system is described. Finally, the function of input-output warehouseand taking stock information management in the management system of supplieswarehouse is initially implemented.
