Magnetic fluid tilt sensors is a magnetic fluid substance based on this new special to design new sensor.Because of magnetic fluid is that has both fluid mobility and magnetic property, Compared with the traditional inclination sensor, the magnetic fluid angle sensor have a higher sensitivity, better reliability and faster reaction time to meet people’s growing performance requirements for the tilt sensor.This paper developed a magnetic fluid tilt sensor prototype based on second-order magnetic fluid buoyancy principle, and analyzed the theory of magnetic liquid tilt sensor mechanism, through experiment to explore the impact of various factors on the performance of the sensor. The main work of this paper is as follows:1、The second-order magnetic fluid buoyancy principle of angle sensor is analyzed theoretically, deducing magnetic fluid Bernoulli equation and building a physical model of magnetic fluid tilt sensor,and get the sensor restoring force derived formulas.2、For a more in-depth understanding of the second-order magnetic fluid buoyancy principle, simulating by the finite element method to analyze the sensor model, a more intuitive view of the sensor cavity field distribution and the distribution of the magnetic field lines can be get.3、Theoretical analysis for magnetic fluid tilt sensor to derive the relationship between input and output characteristics, and the overall sensitivity of expression.4、The overall program for magnetic fluid tilt sensor is designed, by fully considering the feasibility, cost, and experimental results to select the appropriate experimental magnetic fluid, permanent magnets and shell material.5、The experimental unit is designed and built to study the effect of various parameters on the magnetic properties of the liquid tilt sensor.6、Through researching and analyzing the input-output relationship of magnetic fluid tilt sensor, the impact of various parameters on sensor performance is get. Through designing different variables experiments on various parameters to directly affect the performance of the sensor, and then in turn confirms the derivation formula.
