As the applications of Wireless Sensor Network are more and more widely, thesecurity issues become increasingly prominent. Since WSN is usually deployed inunattended harsh environment, the sensor nodes can easily be captured, once the nodeis compromised, the attacker will be able to get the sensitive information, such asnode key, identity and so on, thus threatening the safety of WSN.The attacker could exploit compromised nodes to inject false data in WSN, notonly can trigger false alarms, let users to make wrong decisions, but also consumevaluable WSN’s resources, reduce WSN’s life time. Due to the current false datafiltering schemes are only filtering false data reports and the compromised nodes canstill continue to launch false data injection attacks, therefore, in order to improve thefalse data filtering capabilities effectively, the compromised node should be isolatedfrom the WSN. This paper will build the trust management mechanism into falsedata filtering scheme in WSN, false data filtering schemes based on clustering andinformation of neighbor nodes in WSN are proposed, the trust management candetect whether the nodes are compromised through evaluating the trust value ofnodes, thus isolating the compromised nodes actively to prevent them to launch falsedata injection attacks continuously. The main research works are as follow:(1) False data filtering scheme based on trust management mechanism ofclustering in wireless sensor network, deployment sensor nodes by the method ofclustering, false data report is limited in a cluster, which forged collaboratively bycaptured nodes, while the trust management mechanism can detect whether the nodeis compromised, and isolate the compromised node. The analysis results show thatthe proposed scheme not only can filter false data effectively, but also isolatecompromised nodes, and has a strong ability of tolerating compromised nodes.(2) In order to avoid some of the nodes’ burden too heavy (such as the clusterhead node), let them lose effectiveness because of the energy consumption too fast.False data filtering scheme based on trust management mechanism of neighbornodes information in wireless sensor network. All nodes in WSN involve in the trustmanagement, and can select the node to generate and forward the data report according to the node energy consumption. Thus the scheme balances the energyconsumption of nodes, extends the wireless sensor network’ lifetime. The resultsshow that the scheme can also anti-collusion attack and have a strong ability totolerate compromised nodes.The paper proposed the above two schemes on the basis of trust managementmechanism, the analysis results show the both can resist collusion attack fromdifferent regions’ nodes, there are both good false data filtering capability and strongability to tolerate compromised nodes.
