Hyper-spectrum remote sensing obtains information of continuous spectrum of ground objects by aerial or space imaging spectrometer. The spectral resolution of hyper-spectrum images reach up to lOnm, making undetectable surface features in traditional remote sensing be able to be detected in hyper-spectrum remote sensing. Due to the limitation of the spectral resolution in traditional panchromatic and multi-spectral remote sensing, it is complicated to recognize the special but rich spectral information of the ground objects. Hyper-spectrum remote sensing data overcome these limitations and have been proved its superiority of providing highly desired information together with more contiguous and narrower spectral bands. Currently, hyper-spectrum remote sensing has been widely used in geological mapping, vegetation investigation, marine remote sensing, environmental monitoring and so forth. Geological prospecting and the extraction of the spectral information are the most successful areas of hyper-spectrum remote sensing application. This article uses the hyper-spectrum remote sensing image data of a district in Yunnan as the main research data, realizes the display, query, modify etc of spectral information by using the existing spectral database systems. This paper mainly introduces three data processing method include a single spectrum data processing method, multi spectral data processing method and comprehensive analysis. A single spectrum data processing methods including spectral curve smoothing, excluding specific band, the normalized first-order differential etc.. Multi spectral data processing methods including the normalization of multi spectral data, the standardization of multi spectral data, calculating the average spectrum of multi spectra etc.. Comprehensive analysis of spectral data including spectral classification, pattern recognition, and find the optimal distinguishing band. Simultaneously, we study on the extraction of hyper-spectrum mineralization information, the spectral information of this region were analyzed and extracted by the existing ground spectral data information analysis system.
