The Research On Unattended Hotel Door Lock System Based On Zigbee

At present, hotels are facing fierce competition, high labor costs, and the current hotel management systems are complex to wire, difficult to expand, inconvenient to maintain, and low in efficiency. In order to slove these problems, this paper analyses the actual needs of hotel operators, managers and customers, combines with the research situation of ZigBee wireless technology, puts forward to an unattended hotel door lock system scheme based on ZigBee. The system has two levels of structures both in hardware design and network design:to the hardware, there are guest room management controller access point and door lock control panel; to the network, using two levels of network communication mechanism, which are GSM network, ethernet in the high level and the ZigBee wireless network in the bottom level. This approach makes the hardware design more perfect, and the network function more powerful, the hardware and network also achieve a perfect combination.According to the characteristics of ZigBee technology, and the particularity of ZigBee wireless network using in the hotel, this paper focuses on the underlying hardware and application layer transplantation based on the original protocol of Z Stack. At the same time, make a detail research from the aspects of network structure, permanent address, security and encryption and low power consumption, and at last achieve a Z-Stack protocol specifically for hotel intellectualization. The article also introduces the hardware design and software design of the system, and on the hardware design, solve the high cost of choosing and employing persons and disadvantages of the previous hotel management system in the wiring, installation, maintenance and so on; On the software design, make the hotel management system realise humanity. The unattended hotel door lock system based on ZigBee that forwarded by this paper is not only high in data transmission reliability, high in safety, but also low in cost and power consumption, it can effectively improve the economic benefits of the hotel, and raise the service level of the hotel.Thus, it can bring the biggest economic benefit for hotel operators, creat efficient management platform for hotel managers, and provide the most convenient and comfortable service for customers.Through the test on each module, the results indicate that the unattended hotel door lock system based on ZigBee realizes each function of wireless communication, and the power consumption has reached the requirements, they meet the requirements of hotel using ZigBee wireless network. With the further development of ZigBee technology, it will be widely used in the hotel industry.
