As an important technology in the field of multimedia, virtual auditory spacetechnology is utilized in adding virtual sound synchronized with video in the virtualenvironment, so that it can simulate the real scene. Virtual auditory space technology iswidely used in many areas, such as military, entertainment, education and health care.Therefore, the research of virtual auditory space technology makes estimable sense.This paper studies and analyzes the spatial hearing and HRTF related with virtualauditory space technology, focusing on analyzing the HRTF based3-D Sound SystemThrough the studying of the HRTF database produced by PKU&IOA, the modified3-Dsound system based on HRTF is designed and implemented. On the basis of realizingthe function of the surround in the far field horizontal plane and vertical plane in theoriginal system, three functions are added: the first one, the surround in the near fieldhorizontal plane and vertical plane; the second, the distance changing mode in specificazimuth angle and elevation angle; the third, the function of choosing the ear styles (bigear or small ear). The results have shown that the system-processed audio has beenmuch more improved in the sense of space and stereoscopic impression than the originalone; in addition, the distance, the type of ear and the elevation angle have impacts onHRTF in different degrees. |
