Data acquisition device is not only the medium of communication between theoutside world and the computer but also the indispensable channel of obtaininginformation. Data acquisition technology is one of the important technology thatconstitutes information science, which has been largely used in various fields ofnational defense construction and national economy. With the constant progress ofscience and technology, especially the development and popularization of computertechnology, the prospects of data acquisition technology is very broad.In many industrial fields, equipments can easily go wrong due to high loadoperation. In order to realize the running status of device in time, their statusparameter are normally collected by data acquisition devices and sent to computersystem, then the parameter are analysed by specific software that run on thecomputer system, hereby to estimate the running condition of the current device, andthen the monitor takes further measures. To fulfill the demand of monitoring theequipment status in the industrial field, a data acquisition module based onCANopen protocol is introduced. It has the following features:1)It can generate16-bit or24-bit high-precision output;2)It owns eight kinds of range and themaximum measuring range is±30V;3) A series of anti-jamming measures areadopted to improve the reliability of it;4) To make sure that the data communicationis real-time and reliable, it uses high-performance and high-reliability CAN bustechnology.5) To give full play to the advantage of CAN bus, CANopen protocol isadopted as CAN application layer protocol.The first chapter of this paper introduces the research background, significance,status quo and development trend of data acquisition module. Combined with therequirement analysis and technical index of the module, the second chapter expoundsthe overall design scheme of the module. The third chapter introduces the hardwarecircuit implementation of the module and the selection of analog-to-digital converterand micro controller in detail. The fourth chapter illustrates the software design ideas of the module and introduces detailly the writing of the module’s software program.The fifth chapter gives the test of the module function and the corresponding testanalysis. Finally, the author summarizes the full paper and indicates the direction offuture improvement.According to a functional test of the module, the data acquisition module basedon CANopen protocol runs stablely and outputs real and reliable data, that can fulfillthe demand of monitoring the equipment status in the industrial field.
